Hi! This is an old-school Pokemon format inspired by the casual Half-Deck format in Japan. The cards here consist of everything from Base Set thru Gym Challenge, including the promotional cards from that time period as well (with some limitations and restrictions). Why? These are the cards I grew up collecting and obsessing over during Pokemania and they bring me the most joy! I wanted to make a format that was FUN FIRST but also contained some of the strategies that existed in competitive play. Using 30 card decks, instead of 60 card decks, allow for cheaper deck construction and quicker games. Perhaps you can even build some decks with the cards you had from your childhood in boxes and binders somewhere!
